A series of articles on final year Academic Projects/Internship options at various ISRO Centers for UG and PG students . Part-2 in the series is regrading U R Rao Satellite Center (URSC), Bangalore.
U R Rao Satellite Center is the lead center of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) responsible for design, development, assembly & integration of communication, navigation, remote sensing, scientific and small satellite missions.
URSC provides an opportunity for final year students to carry out their academic project work in the area of design and development which are useful to the Organization. Students undergoing following courses are allowed for academic project work at URSC:
Undergraduate: B.E./B.Tech.
Postgraduate: M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc/M.C.A.
Eligibility Criteria: Minimum of 70% marks in all semesters of M.E./M.Tech., M.Sc./M.C.A. & B.E./B.Tech.
Maximum Duration: 10-12 months for M.E./M.Tech. students, 6-8 months for M.Sc. & M.C.A. students, 4 months for BE/B.Tech students.
No Stipend, transport & canteen facility will be provided during the training. Students should apply for the project work only through their academic institutions. Project completion certificate will be issued at the end of the project.
The students will be allotted project work at URSC based on the availability of projects & facilities only.
